Stamped revenue paper

Stamped revenue paper where introduced in Denmark in 1657.

The paper was impressed with a coat of arm belonging to the ruling king (untill 1862). The type of paper and rates and fee values is also on the paper.

After the revenue stamp where introduced in 1862 – these stamps was also in use together with these paper.

I show some examples of these revenue papers from 1680, 1775, 1805, 1830 and 1841 – with the coat of arm from each of the kings.

There is also a document from 1840 coat of arm from 2 kings. Frederik VII have died late in 1839 - the paper for 1840 was already printed - so there for new monogram of the new was added.
